What do you all think? Will they pay the same like before adjusted for inflation?

Lol. Segments like Swaco and Coil have cut pay rates. And 2nd year of no merit raises. Don't hold your breath to come back higher than what you left at. SLB will do more with less, which means employees will do more for less.
Re hired??? Just forget it. unless you r still under 25 or 10 year experienced. other than that i don't see any reason why they rehired. At least 300 new grad waiting, 30K laid off engineer are battling to get in the hub of dck, name slb.
I hope you get re-hired. They need people like you.
Why would you even consider going back??
its a fact, they are trying to get people for 20% less.
Cat , mice ? Wtf?!
Woof woof
If they do rehire you back, I bet the HR will grant you a 20% discount on your previous salary just because you are so desperate and you have no other place to go
Out with the Old in with the New. New hires will do your job for half of the pay. Just look at manufacturing, the starting pay at Caterpillar is less than what I made in 1984.
As soon as the cats have enough cheese in their baskets to use as bait for the mice, and they will come running to get their share oblivious to the fact that there are younger mice to compete with.
Current employees will be screwed. New hires will reap. Demand will meet competetion
Current employees are brainwashed and will.be.screwed.
Mark my words
Rehire into the mess again...you must be a little shameless or may be you are a person worth whatever your salary was and nothing else
