People love to hate apple but their products are still loved by many. It shouldn't t be lost on intel employees that their new product releases gain front page coverage and their new apps processor gets as much focus and more acclaim than intels recent introductions.

Gone are the days intel gets much interest in its CPU offerings and when was the last time you saw anyone line up for a new model.

One company is hiring and growing and one is contracting and has done Layoffs in the last two years and will layoff even more over the next two as they attempt to ramp 1274 😉

Saying performance gap is 'huge' is misleading.

This is really bad news for Intel. First exploding watches, and now a part that is basically crap. Good job Intel..you took the eye off the ball once again. Wow..I really hope people will get fired over this.

How to identity the iPhone with Qualcomm modem in Asia ?

I like to go for upgrade but need to know the Qc model in Asia

I would be surprised if Intel ever gets another modem into a major cell phone line. Features, performance and quality will all suffer greatly after Aicha's and Murthy's genius idea to close all/most of the European (ex Infineon) sites.

Intel has become a joke punch-line of a company ...

As far as URMs, ya get what ya pay for. I don't feel the least bit sorry for Intel and its horrible decision making.

As long as they don't catch fire 🔥 Apple is laughing to the bank with the price they got from intel, and intel looks like an idiot that they are with their sorry a$$ design and now exposed for all to see. It won't be a surprise why their foundry is a failures as was their attempts at tablets and phones and anything where their is competitive competition. Intel has shown little innovation beyond more cores or higher frequency on x86.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I give Apple one quarter to drop Intel. This is a no-brainer when these phones will be returned. Apple is no dummy. However...how in the hell did Intel NOT due diligence in validation? Wait...the qualified people were given SL4 and ISP and replaced by URMs. Nice!!
