Thread regarding IBM layoffs

For recent RA older people if didn't sign severance papers

Sent to Watching IBM in regards status of class action as it relates to age in job cuts:

I contacted Brent and we have 7 interested parties that also qualify (i.e. Resourced, over 40 and did not sign severance agreement)… That puts us almost half the way to what we need to start discussion on the class action for age discrimination. This is a major increase in one week, and the answer seems to be informing and making sure that this email gets chain mailed to everybody you know in this situation, and making sure that they do the same…

I can’t stress how time sensitive this is… as we get into the last 5 weeks before we have to sign the papers that will make us ineligible - more and more people will be forced to sign due to financial reality… and become ineligible… We want to get to them before that happens…

We have made major strides… Lets do all we can to get Brent what he needs to help us!
