I used the Sach's take-over as a point of reference. I didn't say they were still nominally in charge.
Since the Sach take over lol wake up Sach sold their stake and layoffs have occurred every since
This is an organization that considers faculty liabilities rather than assets.
At least my husband is still on the sinking ship. I do not know how this can go on.
All my bosses fired. The 35 faculty including me. Not sure why. There are a ton o faculty who s---. It's miserable.
Since the Sachs take-over of EDMC, the number of spineless yes-men within the ranks of administration has increased and become an intolerable problem. Most of these "goons" as 1ulo so artfully phrased it, come from outside the arts and have no real understanding of their departments and certainly no idea of what it takes to make it in industry.
So the online division is not alone. Their problem is a systemic one for EDMC. The result is what we see now; failed curricula, ruined schools, and shattered lives.
online curriculum was doomed from the start, i don't know how anyone learned anything worth while in 5 weeks...
- lip syncing animation in a modeling class? absurd. How about teach modeling in a modeling class!
I'm an AR for AIO and the nail in the coffin for me was when they fired Jordan. Very few managers actually care about us and Jordan put his ARs and their students as his top priority. The day he was let go was the day I started applying elsewhere.
BAHHSAHAHAHHA no campus has hit their plans in a long time. Should of been panicked a lot sooner than now. Dust off that resume cause no one is safe... online or campus based all EDMC schools going down very soon I imagine.
Hoesntly, online is doomed because of directors and their bosses. When the new girl took over and started hiring other ground campus goons that just did what they were told, it sealed the deal for online. I am looking at tomorrow being my last day and not giving any notice. I am sick and tired of this bullsh*t. We have a start today and the entire floor is going to miss our plan by a good amount. Managers and above are starting to panic...
Online Admissions reps are jumping ship left and right. The titanic is going down!
Why haven't I heard anything? I guess they'll hold onto online adjuncts until the bitter end since we cost them almost nothing.
All hands meeting for online on October 27! CEO and other high levels flying into Phoenix. It's happening!
Somebody's been drinking
Yes! It's finally happening! Goodbye losers! No more young financial lives to ruin!
Goodbye losers! Go learn a real trade, aside from ruining young financial lives!!!
AIO people let go.
Online going bye bye first... then campuses follow suit.
At least 35 people affected.
