It's mid-November. The TLM and SLM probably already have selected their next round of human sacrifices. FLM have not yet gotten the word and will be kept in the dark until January. Focal is now just a meaningless piece of paper, just a formality. The only question will be how the requirements for lay-offs will have changed. It's nail biting time for anyone that did not take an ERP or VSP.

Would like to see more useless SLM get the boot. Most believe they are safe as long as they have employees working for them. Then they can continue laying off more dedicated employees that have more knowledge, experience and motivation then themselves. Afterwards just hire more RCGs when needed and provide them zero training. Life must be good.

FLM and SLM will be working hard with GM to protect their headcount as the pain from ACT was terrible.
1) Long time average people will get positive messages to insure they don't get identified as purge people
2) Above average people with positive from last year or two years ago will get average to below average so those below them are protected.
Thus money and messages will be very unfairly distributed this year.
Net Focal which went from subjective with perception of unfairness will go to subjective and crazy and for sure unfair this year.

Q4 has always been Intel's best quarter with respect to revenue, so things inside must be real bad.
It's even more pronounced due to the weaker sales outlook going into Q1'17 with inventory piling up.
