Wipro is the best IT industry but the management is putting the reputation in stake all high level people are misusing powers.There is no room for talented people if you are only good at oiling n buttering your managers then you are successful, no respect for hardwork its high time the chairman should pull his socks up before these maggets eat up the companies reputation before its too late to control a curropted IT industry

buttering is a too little word to use for persons who are after managers to get their work done.
seen a absolute trash from Level 0 being promoted to L3 directly just because of closeness to manager.
the same manager disappears from office for 2 months without being seen on floor & when others take leave this fellow take the matter to HR which certainly destroys your self dignity & respect at least it hurts you from within.
Main problem in wipro partiality in region wise guys. Mainly Tamil and mallu guys if all the guys get equal opportunity then company will not go like this
Yes, buttering is the only key to get succes in Wipro. Talent doesn't have any room in Wipro. Even we have to drop out our self respect while working at clinet site with Wipro.
The old guard at the top needs to be changed if Wipro wants to grow else they can exist for some more time .
I agree with @1zfy - they are better organized. They did not have layoffs in India - at least to my knowledge

I've joined Wipro 4 years ago. I was with Accenture for 3 years before that - I can tell you that Accenture is 20 times better organized and they have much better connection with the US operations.
