Moore's Law no longer provides a compelling reason to upgrade a PC. Now scaling still makes improvement in phones, cars and other things compelling.
Problem for Intel the rest of the industry is selling that improvement for 10-15 bucks for the same sized silicon that Intel expects 50 bucks. The Intel thrusts don't acknowledge this competitive landscape and thus ACT2 and ACT3 are all but certain and BK will be gone by 2018
Lol. The new theme song for Intel should be "Slip, Slidin' Away" by Simon and Garfunkel. Can you imagine this song has outlived the extent of Intel as a publicly traded company?!?!

if they are able, Intel can redefine itself and be like IBM. If they fail, they will be like DEC or Kodak. It happens.
You got a leaking boat captained by a couple clowns and the tide is falling so it is all but assured for Intel.
As an employee do you have an lifeboat or lifejacket as bad times at coming that are worse than ACT as ACT2 and ACT3 are going to chop between 20 to 40k. This is a repeat of Kodak and Polaroid, but sadly it didn't have to, but we got CRB, PSO and BK to gurantee the end
