Makes sense on Dtowe. Never works. No talent. Just like top guys. Oh well. He'll be looking for next gig soon or get stover fired. That's my bet.

Stowe, seriously? All wind and no sails. Just shoot everyone. It'd be less painful.
Two solid possibilities:
-
TS takes over the Canonsburg office (too obvious..?)
-
Shut down Canonsburg office because there is absolutely no reason to keep it open. Honestly, all they need to do is move Stowe down to HOU and Marcellus will become profitable and a core asset again.
As soon as the election results are in, housecleaning begins. Its already happening in the Greeley office because HRC is a shoe-in. How many have already moved to the Houston office? Move or get the ax.
Noble already has the bottom of the barrell talent. That's why their performance as an organization is so sub-standard.
Make sense that Canonsburg will be all right. I never could find any WARN notices posted in Pennsylvania.
Canonsburg should be just fine because Noble has no clue what to do with the MBU. They can't shut it down because of partner obligations to Consol. It's an albatross.
Boring
This is all I have heard. Sounds like it's certain.
Noble is a miserable company full of miserable people. What you need to know about Noble is almost EVERYONE who works there is trying to get out. Hoping to get a new job... when and if things turn around Noble will be stuck with the bottom of the barrel. NOBODY want to work for these losers. They have shown what they are all about.
Lots of people acting awfully smug so some news is out for sure.
Many companies are looking ahead to ramp up, not continuing to cut. This is just more proof of the poor management and lack of foresight at Noble. That said, I was cut by Noble almost a year ago, and I didn't realize how miserable I was at that company until I got cut. It was a blow, but I landed on my feet eventually and am soooo much happier out of that terrible company.
Troublemakers? Start in Houston. Top level. That's who makes the real trouble.
There will be some cut loose from the Greeley office. Troublemakers and dead weight are next to go.
They sure did!
Yeah, last time ALL the supervisors and managers told everything in Canonsburg.
Here is some tangible information. Noble blows big time.,
People who know DO talk...they may not post, but they talk!
Nothing tangible because those in the know don't say and don't post on this site.
Mainly prospect development but also gonna clean out some contractors and a few new hires.
So, to answer the original question, no, no real tangible news ever on this site.
...but not Cunningham. Even though she made the poor decisions that put Noble in this mess she'll still be kept. No accountability here.
Depends on what group in Canonsburg. Some should be fine while others may be hit. Anyone involved with looking for exploration properties may need to be concerned. Those that ultimately report to Cunningham may have cause for concern.
Will Canonsburg be Ok?
Sounds like new ventures and business development may be hit the hardest this round. Proven areas may fare better. But that's just fron the speculation I've heard going around. Nothing substantial to base that on.
You all will be better off the sooner you leave or get let go. You just don't know it yet. In my 30 in this business Noble is THE worst place I have ever worked!
Just Stover's email but based on the last three rounds you can guess
1) anyone who did not drink the GAP Koolaid if are not gone already, will be this round
2) GOM, ABU, MED exploration will take a huge hit (hopefully loose the Cameroon country manager in the process)
3) support staff for point #2
If you hoped to see Susan ride her broom off into the sunset you are dreaming though some of her SDR's will finally be given the heave ho
I am in point 2 group and I hope to get cut even though the industry is bad it is better than HATING the company Noble has turned into
