I would like to just walk out the door at Sears, but I can't. I get so tired of customer asking me to check them out. I work in the FJ Dept, the customer complain because the lines are long in Seps, and they only have 1 cashier checking out. I am in FJ Dept, commission base dept. We have no register in the mens dept, taken out. I have a dept that I am responsible for. I am just tired, corporate has just messed up Sears. They cut our store hours, no sales flyer in the newspaper, no electronics dept, negative Editba Store, they say sales are improving we are a top 200 store. Well our lease ends in 2018, maybe they will close us down. Customers are always asking our we closings, because Yahoo loves to talk about Sears. Does anyone know the THANKSGIVING HOURS. No one really knows when Sears will close. But if enough people guess enough times eventually someone will be right...my guess? Yeah. I'd probably say late 2017-18 too just based on the figures and the current condition of the company.
How do you know this information about Sears closing all stores by 2018?

Late 2018 is the final year for Sears Holdings Co. Real Estate liquidation begins mid-2017. Kmart first then Sears. Start preparing for a job change.
What is FJ? Jewelry? I'm an in auto which is different entity itself. I am asked on a daily basis when Sear will file for bankruptcy and get the funeral over with. What can you say besides, "no comment"? It really does not brighten your day. Sears is a dead fish. 2008 is not over.
I wish I could say that we have good time ahead of us but we don't. Not many big store retailers are thriving right now.
