Schlumberger Belfast is going down the pan. The so called heads of the company are just greedy & looking to profiteer. Because the oil price was artificially high a few years ago they want those sort of profits again and now the oil price has settled they're shaft g Belfast so they can make inferior product as at China & Mexico. Good luck trying to see dodgy parts once your name is mud. BP & Exxon & will all go elsewhere.
The British manufacturing sector will never be able to compete with countries who earn a 1/4 of our salaries. The worst part of all this is that we trained these people up in our plants to effectively pinch our livelihoods
Next will be OSS Bergen or/and Celle, all bets are off.
seems like the UK is taking a big hit, Aberdeen {with a stupid 80% pay cut!} Southampton, Longford and Leeds all facing redundancies, wonder who is next? SHTC Stonehouse who knows what the future will bring, but it is not looking good for UK employees.
Exactly the same mentality and self centred attitudes from most managers exist here at Stonehouse, U.K.a truly awful place to work now, trust no one especially your manager or HR.
It's a terrible office to work in....so many managers who only care about their salary and engage to excel scores. Mine was an total idiot.
Good luck people!
Yep do not believe the BS they are going to feed you in the next month or two ask the Southampton people.
170 to go at Longford too. Consultation period my a--. F--- you schlumberger you pack of hungry cunts.
