Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

For Avaya- I can say with a reasonable degree of confidence the following. There is a lot of speculation deal that is close to happening or in the final stages of coming together. If this falls apart or does not happen we will have to have large scale layoffs. There may have been a few one off offers for retirement but those are few and far between. The big crunch will likely come this week or next. I can't be 100% certain but I trust my sources-
