Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Why do people waste their time reading message boards they don't like?

I'm curious. I read this message board and one other on the stock market. Currently in my life those are the only 2 boards that I spend time on. When I'm finally done with Sears, I will be done with this board. But I certainly would not be reading a board that either held no interest for me, or a board I thought was BS, or a board that got me angry. Why do people waste their time on such boards?

Perhaps they want to stifle the negative opinions posted on SHLD? Why else?

I only come here to read what Eddie's butt boy -- 9055 -- has to say.

It's a strange feature of internet culture. I've seen it on every message board. People claim the board is worthless, but apparently they still read it every day and feel the need to comment.

I only found this board only a few weeks ago, and much of the information appears very good. It's always amazing how much better the front line employees understand the SHC retail business than the people running the company.
