There was no choice between taking the job at CSC or getting a package. Basically, you were forced to take the job.
Were they given a choice, ie.... CSC or a package? Or no?

These 106 employees were offered the opportunity to go to CSC with comparable salaries and job duties. So, technically, they weren't laid off unless they chose not to go to the new company.
Any updates since the original post 6 days ago ?
