My last day after RA was in mid August, I gave back my hardware and access cards... Signed the papers...
I was thinking a severance package would come by mail, I haven't received anything yet.
I am curious how it is being delivered? Is it deposited into the account or are they going to mail a check? Not sure why it takes this long...
Maybe look for a Costco gift card in the mail?
Call the ibm employee services center, # should be in your copy of the severance.. In any event, Usually your vAcation pay would be deposited into your bank account 2 weeks after your last pay.. The severance however would be a check to your home (or bank if you opted for a tax shelter) and submitted at the same time with your vacation pay..
You need to contact your former Mgr. Severance checks are delivered to the Mgr the day before your last day. It is up to them mail them to you sign your paperwork.
I also had my last day on August 17; I received a check via US Mail the next day for my unused vacation. I had the one month severance check, also delivered by US Mail, three days later. (I sent back my laptop and severance paperwork the day after my last day.)
