So what's the latest tier 1 phones using an x86 architecture. I think about a year ago, there was push for that with a few token phones that was using x86, but I don't think any exists right now... Any?

That is why Intel had no choice to embrace ARMy at 10nm and offer it to LG.
X86 PPAC simply isn't there for mobile and Intel is no longer so far ahead that they can beat others with superior process. That window closed a few generations ago on CRBs watch.
Servers and 200m client isn't enough volume to amortize the billions in RD and factory costs a big problem!
Samsung and TSMC will amortize their investment on their smartphones and a billions more chips of the ARMy while Intel gets maybe 400 million at most.
The whole business model is broken, big changes and layoffs are coming!
X86 will rule the world!
