Wake up and smell the coffee, you dolt. You are just a temp regardless of where you work. Intel is no different than any other company. Sure, when times are good you will hear a lot of crap about being a valued employee, and your growth path in the company etc. but when things go south, the management will start frog-marching people out the door. So what? That's the way it is, get used to it.

At any time you can be walked with just 5' to pack your cube. Be ready for the titanic to sink and have a plan and life jacket is my advice or you and your family could be in for hard times
