Yes they were told to apply at the gear line or other areas. Engineering leaders are talking with ISC leadership to see what can be done to save it. No word what happened.
They have already told them to start looking for other jobs.
How can they close the Dev shop with all the new product they are busy developing? Oh wait....but seriously I highly doubt they shut down development. It's not a large scale operation and those guys serve a valuable purpse when in need not to mention half the facility exist because of them.
Lots of rumors flying. Best to just see how it all pans out.
Personally, it would be a blessing to get RIF'd. Management has completely lost focus on why we are here. They only care about 5S, HOS, and collecting useless information to put on a board to stand around and talk about.
