Kind of curious how he was able to rehire someone deemed "non-rehireable" by HR.

Exactly Clyde

Richard was and still is a POS, ever since he took over the Lifting & Handling group it went all down hill

He's two faced tells his managers one thing to keep them quiet then changes it at the last minute and so is right hand man Jim B.

Sorry for the folks left in that group that are truly trying to make it work, but your time is limited

Better expect to see another round of layoffs (15% or more) by the end of Sept.

No sales coming in, very little aftermarket sales and three completed cranes costing over $4M sitting and hiding in Louisiana

Glad to be out of that group

LOL, say's the person still employed with NOV! He left for a hefty promotion and took his worthless I talk all day buddy with him! When we got walked out the door in November, there was no dignity or respect in that, especially when I worked laps around some of the lazy people they kept. You all know who should have been let go, only to be kept because they had upper management connections!

You people are all ignorant! Do you really think that it was one man's decision to close the St. Paul office? I happen to know that he fought to keep it open. It was sad to see it close because it was the end of an era, but we were given plenty of notice and treated with dignity and respect. They held many seminars and did everything possible to help with the transition. I feel lucky to have known Richard and have nothing but respect for him. I am choosing to look back at my career with nothing but good. It's really too bad that some of you can't do the same and always have to have someone to blame. I wish all of you the best in the future and remember...happiness is a choice.

That guy is a baboon. Him and his little butt s---ers went to Houston to s--- face. The only reason anyone relocated is because they'd never make the outragous money they make anywhere else. Over paid to the max. Nepotism you later.

They shut down a perfectly good run business after that a-- hat ruined everything.

Yes it just goes to show how NOV is running their business

He was able to get the St Paul office completely closed and just a couple of his kiss asses were sent to Houston His facility in Louisiana had to make headcount reductions because his sales force can sell anything They probably still have at least three completed cranes that were supposed to be sold almost three years ago and still sitting about $4M in cost rotting away

lays off a lot of good people who fight to make things right so he can put his s--- asses in higher positions

Richard is just another VP that's s---ing the life out of NOV
