Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

If Phillips 66 doesn't want the Conoco office buildings we should donate them to the University of Tulsa!

If Phillips 66 doesn't want the Conoco office buildings in Bartlesville we should donate them to the University of Tulsa! Those that can't sell their homes could donate them to University of Tulsa for student housing!

It really is a crappy place...I was up there this past June and everything looked so run down...do folks have to drive to Tulsa to buy House Paint?

Branch campuses are usually in places with significant populations. Bartlesville is a crappy place with little to no need for a major university extension. Perhaps it would make more sense to donate it to some local communtuy college. Bartlesville has no future so therefore I doubt any legitimate university would seriously consider opening up a campus there. Hell, honestly speaking, Tulsa is already remote enough for major university with no large natural pool of candidates (OK is not a significant state).

Been there, done that. Rogers State University has a campus in Bartlesville. TU would have no interest in Bartlesville. Once again, Bartlesville is a sh-- hole.

All universities have branch locations. The distance that a university branch is located from the main university campus doesn't really matter.
