Surely these people should prove themselves worthy of Intel investing in them. Qualcomm doesn't do this.

@IxMJ6uj-iix got it right, but watched very closely what is happening at tier one schools, the foreigners as well as the 1st and 2nd generation work hard, but the focus falls off exponentially with how if parents are foreign or american educated, and by the time they are 3rd generation they are as lazy as their white borthers
My college was full of Americans as well, Just brown Americans I graduated from UC Berkeley about 20% whites mostly Jews, rest Chinese, Koreans, Vietnammese, Indians most US born. I WAS A AVERAGE STUDENT CAME IN WITH PERFECT sat score. Very tough four years. I hear MIT, UCLA, Cal Tech are same. I got rejected by Stanford, wait listed at CMU Got into every second tier school. Now when we talk re Americans we really mean While Euro.
2nd point H1b cost nearly 10k to get, a portion goes to re train Americans, if you take FICA contribution which is paid every year, won't be used. It's another 15k a year. Where will the engineers for these start up come from. The immigrants are the risk takers

No, they need to stay in their own country or pay at least $10K to enter the USA where all proceeds will go to an entrepreneur who is born and raised American. We have colleges full of white Americans who are unable to find jobs because of the bought and paid for Congress freaks who are deaf to the American values. Congress has sold out every hard working born American.
