Glad you brought this point up @1zob: Many that will get the cut are all senior and high grades so the high end will be all for sale shortly.
Thank goodness a local housing crash shouldn't affect me. I'm further out than Hillsboro/Bethany and have a fairly small house so it will still generate interest to those downsizing/empty-nesters. I hope. :)

I thought today (July 28) was Quarterly bonus payout date. I don't see anything. They said they would give the ERPers a prorated bonus.
The market has already stalled and will get worse next year as more cuts happen. ICF will se big cuts as will there be more out of Ronler and JF happen with more consolidation. Many that will get the cut are all senior and high grades so the high end will be all for sale shortly.
Interesting you should say that about the housing market @1lly. I had a conversation with HR (without realizing she was HR. lol) and when she found out I was going to be selling my house in a few months to a year... she advised me to hurry up with the sale as all the job losses in the Hillsboro area will deeply affect the housing market here. I wasn't too worried about it because I'm further out so don't think it will affect my house. I hope. lol

@1dep is this in Oregon or elsewhere?. I am finding it hard to find good paying positions in Oregon due to the massive Indian and ex-intel folks that are staying in Oregon and saturating the market. Want a good paying job? Then tell your congress to cancel the H1B program.
Well I pucking care, @1dep. I TOO got 54 weeks pay (more, actually), but we should be getting a prorated BONUS!!!!!! Idiots abound everywhere.
Who the puck cares I got 54 weeks of pay from BK, thanks for paying so much to retire. Will soon have a mother job and double salary.
