Bonus Q - GBS - band7

Would someone be kind enough and explain to me what the bonus structure looks like, on what it's based and how its structured around utilization vs 'rating'?

I just started at IBM in Feb in GBS - band7 - as of now my utilization is excellent.

For example my target is 94%. If I get a 94% utilization what can I expect to be paid as it relates to the bonus? If I get, let's say, 100%? 110%? What happens and are you rewarded for that.

Not sure if I can call our bonus guidelines 'well defined' however it's hard to figure it out (at least for me)

IBM is Manager driven company, if your Manager likes you and see if you can give him a good head massage, you can get good Bonus, else forget he will snub you, demoralise you and create hell a lot of issues. This will not only impact on your motivation will also create an unrest. so be cool, calm learn as much as possible and look for a new job as early as possible..

Bonuses are based on PBC score so forget (for a VERY brief moment) your utilization. Yet, your utilization does play a very large part in your PBC rating.

To get into the higher BC tiers, you will have to exceed your utilization goals by X%

That being said, bonuses are not guaranteed.

Keep in mind taht if IBM (as a whole) is performing poorly you may not see a bonus as a B7.

Why don't you just ask your manager to explain, it's what they are there for.
