Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel's competitive position only gets worse from here.

Why would the management of a technology giant deliberately consign it to obsolescence? I think the reason is simply to provide a graceful way for the management to cash out of the company. And CEO Brian Krzanich has certainly been cashing out, as recent SEC filings show. His most recent (July 6) SEC Form 4/A shows that he sold a total of 71,413 Intel shares and netted about $2.3 million.

@IvVDZ03-kek Intel is both a business but a technology company. The two core competences are technology and design, of which BK has no clue of from education or management, he is better suited as a manufacturing monkey. I am sure he can run a sneaker factory, dog food factory or such but a leading edge technology company in crisis where the breakthru comes from great insight into the design, technology and business and how they all co-mingle he is failing and BKing it!

When you install an idiot like BK to lead the company, the goal must have always been obsolescence. The guy has zero business decision skills. He is taking the money and getting out of Dodge.

Well, well, well, the why don't the company escort this BK out and hire a new fresh blood. We were all replaced because we are old and they want fresh blood with new(?) fresh skill sets(?)

Is this BK fresh? He does not even deserver a job flipping burgers at BK in Hillsboro.

The Board of Directors is to blame for this mess. BK has a record of incompetence and lack of leadership skills but Intel has a good ole' boy system where they protect their own so cronie capitalism trumps what's good for the company.
