As Intel has no corner on the tools or best ideas, once you are out of atoms, DOF, and Angstroms no amount of daily yelling from VPs can change the fact you went to far and are totally screwed. When you have hit the wall you are dead!!!

All the PhDs in the world can't reset the clock, can't squeeze anymore out of silicon technology without blowing the costs, can't successfully develop III-V technology on a practical size wafer, can't effectively relay this info to BK and the Board. The die has been cast.
