superficially the ill educated will see the results as positive..... notice only 50% of the layoff is accounted for.... costs of the europeans are HUGE compared to US - and the impact of the layoffs has not yet bitten... i'm still seeing 'excellent' and 'instrumental' people being shown the door, leaving huge chasms of experience and knowledge behind..... some groups/sites have been offered 'incentives' to hang around for a year to wind down...... i know many will say F@£$k you to that idea and will bail shortly, leaving huge holes in the business.....
this is just starting and will backfire.

IOT revenue grew from 559M (Q2 '15) --> 572 (Q2 '16) M only 2.3% growth
NVME -- revenue grew from 696M (Q2 '15) --> 554 (Q2 '16) M only 20% down
