How safe are jobs in Security and Cloud? Thoughts?

As safe as jobs in the ghetto
There have already been layoffs in both areas, which means either they're not as successful as the company claims, or IBM has the wrong people in those groups (and in that case, where is IBM going to find the right people?)
Not really the best place to come for an objective opinion!
Read through this board and the Watching IBM facebook page and then you tell me. No job is safe in IBM, unless it is a H1B visa job or somewhere in an underdeveloped country and you are making peanuts. It is a sinking ship and they are working hard to purge employees from developed countries, and yes that includes cloud, analytics, security, etc. Employee morale is very bad. Treatment of employees is horrible. Find a better employer.
