This is very surprising as it is one of a very few that are actually making money. Obviously somebody knows a lot about the future of seismic exploration

Wish they would sell Sweco.
Most likely gonna be Norwegian buyer. Should be realised by end of this year because 3 vessels still shooting for SLB/WG at north sea till end of September...
I heard the deal is getting, any update on the selling of WG?
that took a while...
Whoever said WesternGeco has great managers is really ignorant. This company is extremely mismanaged from top to bottom. Take a poll of clients and you'll find WesternGeco is rated as one of the worst (if not the worst) seismic processing company out there. Clients tend to throw bids out from WesternGeco due to the bid being extremely high and WesternGeco has very bad reputation for not handling the basics of wavelet processing correctly. I'm surprised they are still in business.
Awesome. Sooner the better. The only segment that has superb knowledge, great managers who take pride in their work and people. Separation will do a lot of good to Westerngeco.
What is your source?
Out of all places, it be Antarctica..most profitable..doh!
Lucky bastards, now if they would just sell Smith bits.
Britain....now that Brexit is out of the way.
Definitely North Korea
North Korea
Russia
China
