Is Co-Location Still Going On?

I am working in SC, but parts of my team are widely scatted across multiple geo's and time zones. Are there still co-location efforts going on? Can I sleep easier at night? Any details on what's being offered?

I have two colleagues who are out due to colocation but are being allowed to work through until Dec. 31. I also have a colleague who technically is not at a core site, but has been given an exception because there is no other similar resource anywhere in the region. We were told that unlike the first phase of ACT, where all businesses had to make their reduction numbers per corporate edict, the colocation and project cuts decisions would be more individualized and at the business group level. However I think in general you can kiss your remote or virtual colleagues good-bye before 2017 is out. Probably also some more site closures and also business-level ISPs/VSPs coming. Am assuming the ERPs are done, and any who did not take it will in the future be subject to the new focal and whatever performance cut-off criteria they come up with next.
