Why should you be loyal to Seagate when your CEO is firing you all to boost the price of his millions shares of stock?
Seagate is infested with progressives. If you haven't got the memo, they despise corporations. They are killing it like a virus kills the patient. Purge the progressives and the patient will recover.
Can confirm. I got a 5 on my first performance review followed by a stream of 4s. Got a $500 raise for the first one, and like 1% for each review after that. I learned very quickly that giving a sh-- about the work was not at all rewarded.
They stopped caring about the productive employees years ago and promote only the ones who kiss assor make them look more diverse. This is true mostly in the American locations where management adores surrounding itself with yes people and people that will tell them only what they want to hear. It's true, many of the employees have given up and work at only a three level due to being looked over every year and watching them promote and give raises to those with the most "diversity" or "excitement" instead of work ethic, IQ and loyalty.
I still cannot believe that they did this on June 29th and robbed all those affected of The Joy of The Awarding of The 3 at their performance reviews. Insult to injury.
