Three years ago, our group won a SPIRIT award and our management decided not to pass out the award trophies to the team because it cost too much.......yep, cheap asses, but take heart, the managers all got a little trophy.....
And your point is?
Do you expect them to keep others and sack themselves and their cronies? It is a selfish world my friend. It is also a reflection of the leadership. Very few leaders really have the interest of workers and company in the scheme of things. It is about how much can I grab and how do I please the shareholders so that I can grab as long as possible.
