Does anyone know the dates of the furloughs in September and December 2016?
We can not organize because most engineers have been de-balled . Yes, we need collective bargaining . What can we do being in "right to fire" state ?
We can send systems to the outer edges of our solar systems, but we can't organize to set some kind of bargening agreement? Come on - we are smarter than that. We need to find a way of fighting back. I think enough is enough.
Reduction in force will impact people across the globe, not just the Americas. Americas announcement was today, others across the globe to follow once all the regional legal stuff has been completed. Yes, the americas has been hit hard in the past and will be again this time, but the rest of the globe will also be hit hard this time around... They got protect that high stock price ;-)
Reduction in force will only affect Aerospace, US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
5-10% of total Aerospace census ....around 2-4k....employees will be informed by 7/29/16

Employees allowed to voluntarily request RIF and receive severance, although Company retains right to reject such requests based on business needs

*named his successor to step out as Company CEO for another Millions in 3/31/17
*He will be part of the board of directors to make sure the stock value remains as high as he can before cashing in his stocks.
*This is the best part and the one that does not make justice to the people doing the actual work, Mr. Cote will be a consultant for the company for five years....this is quite a deal...
