If Aetna is cutting all these people, how is it that they're hiring tons of new folks? I've heard zero word of layoffs at the Columbus location. Only that they're continuing to grow.

Aetna is outsourcing. Firing American workers and hiring in-house to an outsourcing company (infosys) or for the most part, sending work to India.
Have you tried emailing the CEO directly with that question?
Out with the old (high cost) and in with the new.
