There was life before seagate and there will be life after seagate. Everyone needs to chill out. There are jobs out there if you want to work. Sure it will be a pain in the asslooking for a new job, but you will het one. Life goes on. In my opinion there are far too many managers at seagate. Managers managing managers. Its a joke. Book a holiday. Buy a new car. I just did both. Again life goes on. Its the summer. Be happy and good luck people.

You're right. Seagate has made it clear that every employee should be looking for another job. Nothing the company is doing shows any indication of a desire to grow and everyone is at risk. Employees should take this like they've already been laid off but are still getting paid. Focus on getting a better job because any focus on your career at Seagate is a wasted effort.
