Seagate is a failure , keep all the expensive sites ,building posh R &D Buildings at most expensive cities in Asia ie. Singapore and South Korea, maintained Media plant in world 's 2nd most expensive city @ Singapore (Woodlands) , which is 3X more expensive than Malaysia and Thailand , no wonder the operating cost very high compared to WD . The SVP of media operations should be sacked for protecting own interest for maintaining Singapore plant, resulted in Seagate operating 3 times more expensive than competitor( look at WD media facility located) . The American CEO and COO are dumb idiots , can't even get the basic number right on expensive site location and site consolidation , how to lead the company to greater heights ????

Regardless if they are playing peanuts or goldbars, seagate is producing sh--s with monkeys everywhere, be it penang, singapore, thailand or the US.
STX are losing the market share to WD, look like they are paying peanuts but gaining the market shares and STX are paying creative and innovative peoples to design superb drives which lose to the peanuts wages employees! Wake up .... fact and figure tell the truth.
