Aicha should get fired and perp walked on the spot without rehire option, this woman is dumb as fck. But we all know, that's not going to happen on BK's watch. So maybe BK needs to be fired first!

LOL this smells of a repeat of WIMAX, the world was just putting 3G in and of course the world had decided on LTE but Intel was far smarter and sunk billions into WIMAX and CLEAR.
You think anyone in the industry will follow INTEL, if it is an open system the will let BK donate billions and clean Intel with open ARM, if it has any sniff of standards dictated by Intel for its's internal advantage it'll turn out just like WIMAX.

Intel is making assumptions to justify its growth and viability in areas where it has little control. The carriers are still rolling out 4G LTE worldwide and they move at a different pace that Intel needs. They won't move faster just because Intel wants it to happen, unless there's a compelling business opportunity. Even if Intel can capture a large part of IoT (and there is an IoT market), there won't be enough margin dollars to incentive the carriers and others in the food chain like it did for PCs.
