Every day I hear about somebody new who was stealthily cut with time til EOM to jump to another job
OP - all you have to do is check PC sales.
If they keep declining like they have been for the past 5 years - you bet your assthere will be more cuts.
Nobody needs a PC anymore when smartphones are the go-to computer of choice for the masses.
VPG cuts are underway. Wouldn't surprise me if other PEG groups are still cutting until end of July, at least. That is, until new Focal system rolls out and cuts start happening regularly on a quarterly basis.

More cuts are coming as PC demands continue to swoon, and as BK has said we will BKing you with far less parting gifts, LOL
So, in phase 2 ACT do people get a package and let go immediately or do they have time to look for another job within the company?
All I can say is I'm glad I'm gone (ERP). It was PERFECT timing before the slaughter. :(

But now begin the project cancellations and inefficiency cuts.
That will be ACT Phase 2. People will be let go.
Yes, heard from our GM that PEG cuts are over. Headcount now expected to grow by 10k by next year.

PEG and CCG both need 75% reduction to bring them to near elimination.
They are a total wastage with inability to deliver any new products on time.
4-5 years LATE PRODUCTS ???? How can Intel compete in the market with such bozos completing the LATE PRODUCTS ???
