Aaaahh, Wellbore Technologies!
The problem with DDS and DI is not the lack of leadership; in fact we have more "leaders" than can be counted. The problems is no body wants to following them, or trust their "visions" and "strategies".
No doubts there are true leaders in NOV, but these are becoming rarer, with each voluntary retirements, RIFs, etc.. (Reads: More rooms for nepotistic and self-serving people to be in the leadership positions.)
It will take along time for NOV to re-establish itself within the industry and with its employees, assuming this is what NOV wants to do.
