No punishment for Intel managers losing ODI cases

I know a few Intel managers who lost multiple ODI cases filed by direct reports, but they remain in the same role. WTF?

ODI for IRs and bad focal ? LMFAO..

Talk to people who have worked at Intel for over 15-20 years.

They will tell you...

Managers have survived at Intel for decades past losing their ODI case... for far worse behavior... such as verbally abusing, physically harassing, sexual remarks, stalking and making sexual advances/coercion.

That's right folks,

Intel is a very ethical, honest, principle minded company that cares about all it's people - including the bad ones. Just as BK considers it to be. Intel is the worst tech company for women to be. Just knowing that the company allows such things, is enough to make any URM female (Intel wants to retain) leave this company. Appalling..

2 in my group got IRs in past year. Me and another got ISP this year. All 4 of us are non-Indians. FLM, SLM (Indians) and 5 remaining ICs are young Indians on H1B. Do I have a case with labor board?

@vww wow, given the current climate, I'm surprised that the manager wasn't tossed out for that. I've heard of some that gave SSL4 because somebody was on sabbatical + bonding leave in the same year. Which, if you think about it, is totally fair. That person was out 4 months + vacation time, it takes a very poor performer to do less for the company during that year. But that's exactly why SSL4 shouldn't be used to fire people. But hey, leave it to BK to give out focal "performance ratings", then toss those aside and use something totally different, that can depend on things like maternity leave, to hand out ISP's.

My manager lost an ODI when a colleague got an SSL4 and the stated reason was that that she was on maternity leave. He is still our manager.

Not surprised, the system is corrupt as hell. I had a manager that got 0% positives on multiple mft's, not a thing happened about it, even when we complained many times about conditions under that person. They weren't ISP'd too, if their focal reflected reality then there's no way they got SSL3. Don't expect management or HR to have to face consequences for bad decisions.
