Horrible Company IBM..I dedicated 20 years of service to them. I took callouts nonstop all hours also worked on shift whenever needed. After 20 years they moved me to another position then layed me off within 2 months of that the same day they layed off about 1000 people. horrible package. trust me look for anywhere else to work.
Garbage in...garbage out. IBM hires and fires. No lotalty to you as an employee. Youd be crazy to go there. You will not last a year. Pbc3 and out the door. Its in its death rattle now. Stay away toxic company and environment. I worked at IBM 2 times will never go back.
Analytics and Cloud reported small pockets of growth in the 'strategic areas' but overall they were down as well... which explains a lot of the recent RA activity there. If the finance people don't see the money rolling in to pay for all the work being done - they cut expense ( people ) until they reach the revenue/expense:profit ratio they are trying to maintain.
This is so true and so obvious - it's been like this since 2006 and after. It's all about cutting cost, and if you need to save a few thousands by letting go someone, you'll do it. The firm lost it's ability to plan for the future.
