I too had a Brit boss @-1yfw. He too was a jerk, And dirty. YUCK. His teeth were SO gross with plaque and cavities and the back of his neck could seriously use scrubbing with soap and water. I didn't know the back of your neck could get blackheads. He was moving up the ladder and sent to have dinner with customers. He didn't even dress up for it and was made fun of. He at least bought a decent-ish suit (as in 1. lol), saw a dentist and washed his neck. He should have done that before meeting the customers but guess he wasn't bright enough to figure that out on his own.

@wxo, it was the 45+ Employees with their experience doing the real work, they were the ones who trained the RCGs and interns, go ask any senior manager they will tell you BKs strategy walked out hundreds of years of experience and oh btw these were the guys who did not suck up to their H1b bosses and spoke their minds when required and hence were given S4s and walked out. Get your facts straight pal.
As far as -wxo I assume you have never been in the manufauring divisions who had to ship hundreds of millions of units at outstanding yield kicking the hell out of the competition. We managed to do this in spite of the sh--ty silicon designs, shipping software (BIOS, drivers, BKCs, and test programs). You must be in either Si design or one of poor performing software/product or useless corporate groups.
@wxo in my experience, the 45+ people are the ones working hard and the RCG's are slacking off - posting to facebook, chatting for hours in random places, taking 2 hour lunches, working 9-3 or "WFH" without logging into Lync or answering email once that day, etc.

He has thrown out the non-performing bastards that were feeding on intel's payroll. Had those thrown out been of any use, they would have found the next big thing in the past few decades. The layoffs have made everyone realize that intel is not anyone's dad's company to keep them there till they die of ageing. If you are 45+, you will be f---ed royally deep in your a--hole till you either drop your attitude issues and start working as per the business requirement or get kicked out of the company like a piece of sh--. 45+ is an age where people start taking everything including their job for granted. Murthy's cleanup action was an eye-opener for such bastards. When they got their layoff notices, the ugly asses started posting ill about the company that had fed them for decades. Such filthy maggot farts can never be an asset for any organization. They are only fit to be a janitor, security, cleaner, door greeter, butcher or some trash removal personnel.
