Can't sell anything if shelves are empty... TGT still can't figure it out. Maybe if the CEO stopped undermining employees at every opportunity to save a buck...

I THINK THE ARROW MISSED THE BULLSEYE. THIS STORE IS OVERPRICED. CAN'T LOOK SHARP IN KHAKIS 4EVER
Boycott is not going away. www.afa.net
As a former "team member" of "the best company ever" (hahahahahaha) I have ventured beyond shopping at Target and have found better prices, much better groceries and overall MORE options with shelves stocked. When I do go to Target now, I see openly unhappy "team members' and frustrated guests. How about donating $20M to the LGBT community rather than poor it into bathrooms, again Targets focus is on S_ _ T that really makes no difference, hence loosing customers and loosing money! Target has been in a downward spiral for years but the closer to the end the faster they are spiraling, maybe that is why they are putting money into toilets, thats where they are at right now in the sh_tter. Maybe bringing BC in was very smart as he is in theory a high powered flusher...so long Target!
Is it pretty much a given now that there will be layoffs after Q4?
Better get your a$$ in gear target team, if you want to remain in business.

Hola amigos! I'm on the jet right now heading for some much needed fun in the sun south of the border. I just wanted to take a minute a drop you ex Targeteers some knowledge from the big boy chair. (we know that 90% of you on this board don't even work at Target)
Target s---s! I said it... It's pretty clear that TGT has been throwing Sh at the wall for years now with no plan or agenda all the while boasting BEST COMPANY ever letting the teeny bopper spoiled brat team members pretend they were driving sales while leadership kissed their asses and pretended to give two shs about them. Guest traffic has been going down for years... We're all going down, you know it and I know it. We're trying to slow the inevitable, but a big a-- store is just not the thing anymore, right???? We used to go to Target, or Sears, or KMART or the Mall because there was no where else to buy sh**, now we can just click and ship.
So, I'll keep selling our new and improved plans (same old sh**) and you keep your heads down and pretty soon it will all be over.
Hasta la vista baby!
Hi Brian, I know you're late to solving anything, but honestly listen to your people. It's unfortunate that they need to express their views here, because you clearly don't listen to your people.
Who knew that the best and brightest analysts in retail were TGT layoff message board lurkers. We are truly blessed!
At this point the board is to blame as much, if not more, than the CEO. They picked a clown that has no original ideas, and thinks that slicing and dicing the company at all levels will fix everything... I hope shareholders wake the f--- up.
What Target doesn't get is that people buy food yes FOOD every day and that's the most neglected part of their stores. Walmart kicks butt in groceries. Instead of just talking, put things into action.
At a time when many of its peers are struggling, Walmart (WMT) posted better than expected quarterly results on Thursday, thanks to stronger sales and more customers, and raised its guidance for the full year.

I can't believe the morons we have in charge here. Foot traffic down, grocery s---s, can't keep items on the shelf... "I know, we should spend $20M on some bathrooms that no one cares about anymore! Hurr durr I'm a genius, gimme my stock erptions!!!"
Yeah BC needs to make significant improvements or he's a goner after Q4. Also, just a thought, but if you're a MASS retailer, you need to appeal to the masses, not a tiny subsegment of the population
