RR: Seriously? I worked at the Service Center until December 2015 and they laid me off, as well as many other employees. You are obviously either: a: stupid as hell, or b: drinking the kool-aid, and stupid as hell, or c: you work for hr, lol! Half of the third floor was packing their sh-- on, what was it...Dec 18th? Yeah, I stayed home, because hard work and productivity don't matter at Gulfscream. It's a matter of whose d--k you're s---ing. If you are a yes man and your nose is all the way up your manager's a--, you're good, Otherwise, you're out! It's an extremely poorly led company that should be bought out by a corporation what will clean house, but unfortunately, it's Gendyn's cash cow, so that ain't gonna happen. I feel sorry for those good people who are left there, working hard for nothing. What a damn joke.
Just curious if anyone has heard anything about any possibly rifs come in the near future.
Anyone hear anything new?
One GAC doesn't care if they they wouldn't have layed off employees on Dec 2015. Two only management jobs are safe
To you people who think GAC cares about you! WAKEUP, all you are is a number. They were so caring that they laid off on Dec. 16. They did this whole thing backwards. They should have offered the VSP and retirement package first to see how many they had take the offer, then talk about layoffs and if you people who got letters think you are safe, HA, you are a number and that is it. Good Luck!
I work in the service center. GAC does care about us and our families
I enjoy working here and look forward to many more great years here at GAC
GAC may be forced to layoff the riff-raff bit that is expected. Too many loser mechanics not
Pulling there weight
Omg, it has nothing to do with whether GAC cares or don't cares about their employees. GAC is a big corporation, THEY DON'T CARE!! It's about running a business, when the demand for private jets soften and a GAC will have to cut all cost, including labor cost to stay afloat and still be profitable, They can't afford to keep paying all employee when they Don't have any new order for their new planes. The parent company GD will have to show revenue and profit growth or answer to share holder. They should also do upper management pay cut, GAC is top heavy, too many highly paid upper management.
I heard they were being bought by them. There is a lot of fresh paint going up
People are leaving to Embraer because they are number 1 in product support. Gulfstream is on a loosing streak
I doubt they will let that many people go. GAC really cares about us and they would not just dump that many people. I work in the service center and we are always talking about how god the company treats us. We love GAC and GAC is very honored to have us working for them.
