Not trying to be a hater ; but am I the only one bothered by someone basically spending most of their time running a charity at Swn and who is now eligible for Medicare ? I could see before staying for healthcare --- just wondering. I hope this doesn't come across wrong ; just wanting perspective . Seems they would gracefully retire and dedicate full time to charity

To the summit! Errrr...wait....ughhh
Many people say he doesn't work for Swn ; so no problem😄... A little mean , sorry.
The real issue is that it unfortunately shows two things - Swn is probably still overstaffed and also shows the path to success for young people in industry or at least Swn ....!spend your time being visible in non core activities , ingratiate yourself with Sr management and let others do the work while you are doing all this .
Also, as a Christian I have always been uncomfortable with the outward - look at me feel.. I know it is sincere ; just not my style
I know who you are referring to and if SWN were my business (obviously not the case :)) I would not have this person working there. If the company's mission is to safely and efficiently produce hydrocarbons, then employing someone who is mediocre technically and spending the majority of the time running a charity doesn't seem to fit "the Formula." Lots of more motivated, more creative people lost their jobs in the layoffs.
Someone in that position is probably costing SWN around $300k in total compensation .. Thats something, Its a delicate issue... but might have traded him out for someone who lost their job in january cuts
I understand where you're coming from. But SWN is greatly benefiting from it. They can use this as an example of charitable work without having to really do anything...
