That works for me, @1sas. My plan was to wait until next year and sell some stock so I can take advantage of selling at 0% capital gains. Note to the naysayers since I'm sure most people are unaware of this... but you pay zero capital gains if you're in the 10%-15% tax bracket which is the plan for next year.
All going according to plan.... :)
They are driving up the stock artificially right now with HC reduction, buybacks and rumors of McAfee sales and rosy futuristic statements but I don't think that will last for a whole year. Look for BK to have cashed out his stock and be gone. Murthy, maybe too.
So price will go to 45 to 50 range
- I agree too much gloom and doom towards Intel and rest of market will push it and market higher. Shorts will have to cover
Law requires disclose soon about 10nm LOL
$5 very soon.. 2017 as far as the low life got the power.
This is an End to the Intel Hi-teck Dynasty.. everyone has his own SOC with ARM core.
This happens when you guys saw the management corruptions and kept quiet.
Indiaaaans and Chineeeese Corrupt low level managers still selling jobs to traffickers on daily bases and everyone of you knew about it and kept quiet. Well that is Unconstitutional to bring cheap labor via human trafficker by these low life corporate criminals but YOU knew it and YOU KEPT QUIET, Now eat it--
The Guy bought a well valid Engineering Degree for $100 in India, then gave 10K to human traffickers and corrupt silicon valley managers so they brought him here via this out of leash corporate system and he is getting high level $130K Salary... here in Silicon Valley... did you get it?
45 makes sense to me given how low interest rates are. It will be another year or two before the strategic challenges become obvious to the average wall street dude. Plenty more cost cutting can be done to please them in the near term
PC market is going down + AMD will bring some competition
Server competition increases
Mobile is going down and Intel loses lots of money there
IoT and all the other nonsense is really expensive for Intel, also no results
Memory business is making Intel just lose money
They've been able to make numbers look good and tell that the growth is coming. But as it's only going to go down the stock price will drop to $20 or so.
25 or under.
When 10nm situation becomes known 15 dollars
$24 like it was for a long while. Neither the numbers or outlook has changed since then. Thanks for the $10 profit my market.
It depends on when BoD terminates BK. Right now, he and Murthy are working to drive up the stock price artificially so they can sell as soon as their stuff vests and reap best profit. They probably both know they are short timers. At least Murthy probably understood that from the get-go. Other than that, it is a crap shoot. I hope it does well as I have a few shares left.
