Curious Engineer..every major decision these clowns have been a part of has led to a business disaster. These clowns are the original management team and like cats have survived 8 lives but their time has come. First, pharmacy, SG spends $ 200MM and its a flop. Result, we get out of the pharmacy business. CVS builds their brands inside TGT and a rare opportunity to bring difference to a huge chunk of the economy is lost permanently because she couldn't figure out tech after spending $ 200MM - in any other place, she would have been canned but no in our house, she's promoted. DotCom - NK led the charge, burns through hundreds of millions, gets Sapient in, outsources all the key stuff and voila - its a sh-- faced start. Once the momentum is gone, you are screwed. The death spiral in retail is negative sales growth and these 2 together have been part of or have been the decision makers of every sh--ty decision that has catastrophically put Target in a back seat. Now these clowns are acting that they are change managers and NK is the biggest goofball of them all - he was singing a different song 3 years ago and now its another song. POS has been another disaster. The death spiral has begun - grocery is dead and is never coming back. I can't help but think as I think about the past, these clowns are directly responsible for the biggest disasters at Target. MM has no clue either. Tesco is not exactly the bastion of great tech. And so in all all - this is a sh--ty place to be and collectively they are going to destroy category after category at Target. I am just going to collect my paycheck and keep investing in AMZN stock. It's game over @ Target.

DMGInsider - What is wrong with NK and SG? I thought they were regarded as the best TTS leaders in the company by MM ..

We need to start at the top; NK & SG need to get sh--canned. Remove the top layers and things will just fall in place. As long a these clowns are around top tech talent will never join TGT. I love the way its spinned - double digit growth in dotcom. Sales moving from 1 channel to another but even at that, overall growth is negative.

Here we go again: Real people that work at Target posting first hand accounts of relevant layoff info drowned out by posers pontificating. Moving on!

this is the new style of layoff, make you work part or all of your 60 days, dangle a carrot on a string of 'you can find a new position' - yet no positions will be available. make the groups small enough that it doesn't trigger the strib (who is in tgt's pocket anyways...)

: @IPf97IV-1abx: can we please keep this forum to the who what where and why of layoffs at Target. We have some now happening again. So many of us left this board behind because it became something else. Thank you!

And the trimming continues. I believe that this administration is still struggling to fulfill needs. Hope that the impacted folks find something soon. There is an opportunity in the Consulting world. If you are brave enough and control your fear, you can become a consultant and make big money. You don't need Target. There is life after that.

No one was escorted out with boxes. We have 60 days to find something internally or receive a separation package. BA, PA (process analyst), PM roles involved. Not everyone in those roles were notified, some are being retitled into new job titles.
