When I toured the Art Institute of Pittsburgh 2 years ago the building / campus and the staff / faculty was a large part of my decision to enroll here. Fast forward to this last layoff and the reality that everything i was presented with will not be there when I graduate really frustrates me beyond words. How can you have a fashion program chaired after the last layoff with someone that only has a background in Interior design ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
We get no real answers other than the most vague "everything is fine and you have no reason to complain or worry about how you spent your money" responses about the future of the school which by the time i graduate, I will have acquired $75k + in debt for faculty that don't exist anymore and a campus that will not exist when i leave. This wasn't presented when my admissions rep talked about the 90+ years the Art institute has been around...... I thought i was enrolling in a real college.
You cant deny our concern when other Ai schools and an ENTIRE school brand in Brown Mackie will not exist in a few years.
Just be honest with me
