Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I love these executive reshuffles. You know f--- all is going to change but when the music stops someone didn't have a chair.

When the music stops all the executives will have a resume that looks pretty good to be hired for huge sums at other companies.

The rank and file technicians to SLM will be SOL with no lifeboat nor lifejacket when the titatnic slips under.

Lets be honest Moore's Law is dead, ntel 10nm won't arrive before the competition, client continues to decline, server isn't growing fast enough to compensate. Modems, IoT, memory are all near commodity products with fierce competitors where Intel holds no competitive advantage or moat and thus can't make money of any significance and most likely will sustain huge loss thru subsidies or writedowns. It will be an ugly 2017 and 2018 with many more cuts and layoffs. BK will be gone by the end of 2018 if not sooner and was never the right choice

Those shuffles aren't to make the business more effective -- they're only to give the executives broader experience.
