Heard that new permanent ERP program is being discussed which offers ERP to anyone signing up for voluntary retirement within 30 days after being eligible. Retirement date can be within 90 days of the eligibility as negotiated with the manager.

Permanent VSP will also be implemented in which everybody is qualified. Hopefully, this will reduce the next round of cuts.

Yes sure it would be less demoralizing, if they actually let people retire instead of kicking them early before they could retire. You know how much of a show all this is.

That's because sooner or later they'll get rid of retirement altogether. They'd just fire people before they could retire.
