I was the only white man in a group of 7 Indian ICs under Indian manager. Got first SSL4 and ISP. Two other non-Indians under same manager got IRs previous years. Complained to HR, SLM. No support. Good case for EEOC?
I personally know 1 ISP that was overturned. It can happen. The employee is back at Intel now.
My ISP was overturned after my 2015 focal result was corrected. I had actually started escalating problems before layoffs were announced but was ISP'd anyway.
The c**p one horrifically bad manager put me thru for the ~6 months I was in his org was incredible. Attempts to raise the issue to the next 2 lines of management fell on deaf ears. 20 year career killed.
I didn't particularly want my job back. I mainly wanted my record cleared. Negotiated a more favorable severence and will not be going back.
OP: I tried. I spent hours on this. I was a lowly grade 8 that had just rejoined intel after 1 year away. I had documentation etc. on why this wasn't fair. But, I got a ssl4 and that was that. It made no difference that I fought it. Don't count on this. Move on. Find something else. And to the troll that will respond to this and insult the OP and me: you go get a life, a--hole. You never worked at intel. I've seen what are most likely your posts for months. Get a life and job!
Not one ISP decision has been over turned regardless of what people are saying.
A colleague got the ISP decision (they reversed it) only last week, so it is apparently taking some time. Colleague decided to leave Intel anyway, just didn't want any 'performance issue' stuff on the record. I'm would be curious on how many ISPs eventually get reversed and on what grounds. They keep changing the criteria on what's a performance issue and what isn't.
