Indeed they will implode one another. It's already happening. Those left that aren't family members of upper management are miserable but stay because its a paycheck. When a job goes from being a career opportunity for future growth to just a paycheck, its time to checkout and do you.

Im still trying to work out what salad tossing is , as for one door closing and another opening that's usually on Monday morning going from jail cell to the High court for my regular appearance in front of his honour. Maybe Im no tossing enough salad though have met a few tossers in my time.

At the end of the day, I left NOV, head held high, learned a few things, made a few friends, and I don't envy the decision my line manager had to make.

Bad language and nonsense aside.........good people did get laid off and those who kissed a-- did stay. That is not bitterness....that is truth. Did they get rid of some bad people? Yes, but for the most those who left were those who could not color inside the NOV lines of follow the leader and be a sheep. It is sad but totally true. I got let go not because I did a bad job and not because I did not have the required skills but because the boss had to let someone go who was not family and I was the outsider. I had more experience but at the end of the day that does not matter much. Let the ship sink with all the in house fighting and backstabbing to be number one. They will implode on one another!!!
